The CALU Team

CALU has three full-time members of staff, based at Bangor University's Henfaes Research Centre. They are supported by a network of colleagues and associates in ADAS, Bangor University, Coed Cymru, Deeside College, Glyndwr University, Planed and Mabis, as well as self-employed knowledge transfer staff in Gwynedd and Carmarthenshire.

 

Kerrin Buckler
CALU Manager
Kerrin has a degree in Forestry and an MSc in Animal Production. She worked on a range of agriculture and forestry projects before moving into project management in the construction industry. She joined CALU at its inception in 2004. Kerrin is based at Henfaes and is responsible for the day to day management and administration of the Centre.

Laura Pritchard
CALU Project Officer
Laura has a degree in Tourism Management from Manchester Metropolitan University. She has worked in a range of hotels including a premier five star hotel in Dublin City centre. Laura's specialism is event organisation and management and she will be heading up CALU's team for the agricultural shows. She also has experience in herb production (both protected and field scale) and a particular interest in poultry.
