Discussion Groups

Meeting with other people who are practising a similar type of agriculture or horticulture can be a great way to learn new things.

Through Farming Connect's support, CALU has been involved in the establishment and continuing support of a number of discussion groups across Wales.

The purpose of these groups is to provide a forum to exchange information, advice and experiences. The discussion groups meet several times a year. At these meetings a visiting speaker, chosen by the group, will usually provide a talk on a topic of particular interest to that discussion group, followed by a question and answer discussion session.

We have a limited amount of funding to support new groups. If you are interested in forming or joining a discussion group, please contact CALU for further information.
